What a TV unit costs in Bangalore.

A TV unit in Bangalore costs ₹22,000 to ₹1.8 lakh in 2026.

The short answer

TV unit cost in Bangalore, 2026.

A TV unit in Bangalore costs ₹22,000 to ₹1.8 lakh in 2026. A simple wall-mounted console runs ₹22,000–₹45,000; a unit with storage and open shelving ₹55,000–₹95,000; and a full-wall panelled feature with concealed wiring and lighting ₹1.1–₹1.8 lakh.

What moves the price

What actually moves the price.

It is rarely the size of the television.

01

How much wall you are covering

A console is priced per running foot; a panelled wall is priced per square foot of wall. Going from a 2-foot-high console to a full 9-foot wall multiplies the area by roughly four.

02

Concealed wiring means electrical work

Hiding the power, HDMI and set-top cables needs a conduit chased into the wall before the panelling goes on. That is a separate electrical job of ₹4,000–₹12,000, and it has to happen first.

03

Fluting and slats are labour, not material

Fluted or slatted panelling costs 2–3× flat panelling for the same area, almost entirely in the machining and fixing time. It is the most common reason a TV wall quote surprises people.

04

Lighting turns it into a feature

Profile LED behind the panel or under the shelves adds ₹8,000–₹25,000 including the driver and the switching. It is also what makes the wall read as designed rather than assembled.

Watch for

Where quotes get misleading.

These are the things that make two quotes look different when the scope is identical.

Wall-mount bracket excluded

Most quotes do not include the TV bracket or its fixing into the wall behind the panelling. Confirm it, because retrofitting a bracket through finished panelling is awkward.

Cable management as an add-on

Ask whether conduit and cable routing are in the number. If the answer is vague, it is not.

Ventilation for the set-top box

A closed cabinet with a set-top box and a router inside needs vents. Sealed cabinets cause equipment to overheat and fail.

Socket position

The socket must sit behind the TV, not below the console. Moving it is electrical work and it needs deciding before the unit is built.

Good questions

Cost questions people ask.

₹22,000 for a simple wall-mounted console up to ₹1.8 lakh for a full panelled wall with concealed wiring and lighting. Most families spend ₹55,000–₹95,000 on a unit with storage and shelving.

Usually not. Chasing conduit into the wall for power and HDMI is electrical work costing ₹4,000–₹12,000, and it must be done before the panelling is fitted. Always confirm whether it is inside the quote.

It is machining and fixing time, not material. Fluted or slatted panels cost 2–3 times flat panelling per square foot, almost entirely in labour. It is the single most common reason a TV wall quote comes in higher than expected.

Three to five days for a simple console, up to twenty days for a full panelled wall including any electrical rework and curing time for the wall preparation.

Both. Closed for the things that look like clutter, open for a few objects that break up the mass. A fully closed wall reads heavy; fully open collects dust and needs styling you may not want to maintain.

Plywood grades quoted here follow IS 303 (BWR) and IS 710 (BWP, marine grade), and every estimate is exclusive of the 18% GST that applies to modular work. What these grades and terms actually mean →
