Replacing a kitchen is not the same as ordering one. The old one has to come out, and what is behind it is rarely what you hoped.
A full kitchen renovation in Bengaluru costs ₹1.6 lakh to ₹6.5 lakh. That covers stripping out the old kitchen, electrical and plumbing rework, waterproofing behind the sink wall, tiling, and a new modular kitchen. Roughly 25–30% of the cost is the work you never see.

Builder kitchens were wired for one small appliance. An induction hob, a dishwasher, an oven and a chimney together need dedicated circuits, and often a heavier supply cable back to the board.
Damp behind the sink wall, cracked tiles, uneven plaster. We survey before quoting, but some of it only appears once the old kitchen is out, so we agree a contingency rather than surprise you.
Three to five weeks without a kitchen. We set up a temporary point with the fridge, a microwave and a kettle away from the work, because that detail matters more to families than any finish.

Strip-out and disposal alone add ₹25,000–₹60,000. On top of that, builder wiring rarely supports a modern appliance set, and there is usually damp or damage behind the old units that has to be dealt with.
Sometimes, and it saves real money. But if you are adding an induction hob, a dishwasher or an oven, the existing circuits almost certainly cannot carry them, and we would rather upgrade than overload.
Within limits. Moving the sink more than about two feet runs into drain slope, and moving the chimney needs a duct route. Both are decided at survey, not after you have paid.
