Four honest comparisons against the firms you are most likely to be choosing between. Every claim about them is limited to what they publish themselves.
What these pages are, and what they are not.
These are written by us, so they have a point of view. What we have tried to do is make them useful rather than neutral-sounding: every claim about Archree is checkable on this site, and every claim about another firm is limited to what that firm publishes on its own. Where a competitor is the better choice for a particular job, the page says so. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

They are written by one of the parties, so treat them as an argument rather than a review. The test we hold them to is that every factual claim can be checked without taking our word for it.
Because there is no fair way to write one. The national brands publish enough for a comparison to be evidenced; a good independent designer publishes almost nothing, and comparing against a firm we cannot cite would be guesswork.
The rate and what area it applies to, whether civil and electrical are inside the quote, what happens if the project runs late, and whether you can speak to a recent client. Four questions, and most quotes stop being comparable at the first.
