Define the zone
A rug, a pendant light, or a change in ceiling treatment. Something has to say "this is the dining area", or it reads as leftover space between the sofa and the kitchen.

In most Bengaluru flats the dining area is a zone, not a room. Making it feel deliberate is a design problem, not a furniture problem.
A dining area fit-out in Bengaluru costs ₹85,000 to ₹3.2 lakh. That covers a crockery or bar unit, a feature wall, and lighting over the table. The unit is most of the cost; the table is usually loose furniture.
All four are decided before anything is built, and all four are expensive to change afterwards.

Roughly 750–800mm above the table top. Higher and it lights the room instead of the table; lower and people knock their heads standing up.
It is the piece guests actually see, and the only real storage this zone has. A bar section adds ₹15,000–₹35,000 and is the most-used upgrade we fit here.
Measured from the table edge to the nearest wall or unit. This is the single measurement that decides whether the dining area is comfortable.
Measured, built in the factory, installed clean.
Your actual room, not the builder drawing. Beam drops, socket positions and floor level all recorded.
You see it with your furniture placed. Circulation first, storage second, finishes last.
CNC-cut and pre-assembled off site, so there is no dust and no improvisation in your home.
Two to four days on site, snag list closed in writing, warranty starts at handover.
Priced as a complete room, installed.
The core pieces in laminate on BWR ply, soft-close throughout.
Acrylic or matte laminate, full lighting design, added storage.
Veneer or PU/Duco, Blum hardware, bespoke detailing throughout.

₹85,000 to ₹3.2 lakh, mostly depending on the crockery unit. A 7-foot closed unit runs about ₹1.4 lakh; adding glass display sections, a bar and lighting takes it past ₹2 lakh.
A 6ft × 3ft table plus 900mm clearance on every side — roughly 11ft × 8ft of floor. If you have less, a 4-seater with a bench on one side works far better than squeezing six chairs.
750 to 800mm above the table surface. Fix this before the false ceiling goes in, because the drop point and the switching are both ceiling work.
In most Bengaluru flats you do not have the choice. A well-defined dining zone in the living room works fine; what does not work is a table placed in the walkway to the kitchen.
Yes, with a properly sized ventilated cut-out. You need to choose the exact appliance before the unit is built, because the opening is made to its dimensions.
