Exterior weatherproof painting in Bengaluru costs ₹28 to ₹52 per square foot including surface preparation, crack filling and two topcoats. A quality weatherproof system lasts 7–10 years here, against 3–4 for ordinary exterior emulsion.

North and east faces that stay damp grow black fungal patches through the monsoon. An anti-fungal system plus a biocidal wash before painting is what actually prevents it.

We test the existing wall for damp, chalking and loose putty. Painting over a damp wall is the single most common reason a repaint fails within a year.

A full primer coat, tinted towards the topcoat. Skipping primer to save a day is why some walls need three topcoats instead of two.

See terraceA quality weatherproof system lasts 7–10 years. Ordinary exterior emulsion gives 3–4. The difference is the crack-bridging film and UV-stable pigments, and it is one of the clearest cases where the premium product genuinely pays back.
Fungal growth, usually on a north or east face that stays damp. Painting over it does nothing. The wall needs a biocidal wash, the moisture source has to be fixed, and then an anti-fungal system applied.
Not well. The surface needs to be dry and needs a dry window for curing. We plan exterior work for the dry months and will tell you to wait rather than take your money for a job that will fail.
Only with UV-stable pigments, and even then expect some shift. South and west elevations take the most punishment. If you want a deep colour, put it on a shaded elevation and use a lighter tone where the sun hits.
For a ground-plus-two building we usually include it. Above that, scaffolding or rope access is quoted separately because the cost varies significantly with building height and access.
