Luxury interior designers in Bengaluru

Work that is drawn rather than configured. Bespoke joinery, specified stone and veneer, imported hardware, and the same fixed date and written warranty as everything else we build.

The short answer

What separates luxury from expensive.

At the top of this market the difference is not the price of the laminate. It is whether the work is drawn or configured. A configured home picks from module widths, standard heights and a finish library, and it can be very expensive without ever being bespoke. A drawn home starts from your rooms, the ceiling height you actually have, the wall that is not square, the view worth building a window seat around, and the joinery is made for it. Bespoke work in Bengaluru runs ₹900 to ₹3000 per square foot, and whole homes at this level generally start around ₹25 lakh.

What changes

The four things that actually differ.

01

Drawings, not configurations

Every unit is detailed at 1:10 before anything is cut. Shadow gaps, reveal lines and the way two materials meet are decided on paper, which is the only place they are cheap to change.

02

Materials are specified, not selected

A stone slab is reserved and inspected before cutting, not ordered by name. Veneer is book-matched from one log. Two "walnut veneer" quotes can differ by four times and both be accurate.

03

Lighting is designed

Layers, beam angles and colour temperature planned against the joinery, then wired to that plan. Most of what makes a photograph of a room look expensive is the lighting.

04

Tolerances are tighter, so time is longer

Lacquer needs a controlled environment and curing time. Stone needs template-then-cut. A 90-day villa programme is not padding; it is what the finishes require.

The commercial part

What does not change at the top end.

The temptation in this segment is to sell mystique and stay vague about commitments. We publish the same terms here as everywhere else on the site: a fixed date set after the site survey, a credit of ₹1,000 for every day we run late for reasons within our control, a 10-year written warranty on modular units, core materials and workmanship, and an itemised quote before work starts.

GST at 18% is a separate line. Appliances and loose furniture are quoted separately. Nothing about a larger budget makes those things less worth stating.

Questions

Asked and answered.

In practice around ₹25 lakh, because below that the bespoke process costs more than it returns and you are better served by our premium package tier, which uses the same materials in a configured form.

Yes. A good part of our villa work is execution to an architect's or interior designer's drawings, where we carry the build, the programme and the warranty and do not compete for the design fee. There is a page for that.

About 90 days from design sign-off for a villa, longer where stone or lacquer drives the programme. We set the date after the survey and it is a commitment, not an estimate.

Ask for a reference call. We will introduce you to a client whose project was closest to yours in size and scope, and you can ask them what went wrong as well as what went right.
